The first step you need to do is to collect the clothes that you no longer need and you start to cut them into strips as long as possible, with a width of 2-3 centimeters. When you finished cutting the strips , you can squeeze them in some tangles, to make it easy to work with them.
Take three strips of material and start to weave. When a strip ends, insert a new one so the braid to continue naturally, even if small bits of twine protrude. Basically, you need to weave strips until you run out of them.
The next step is to turn the braid into a bed for your pet. Form an imaginary spiral from the fabric, and begin to sew the edges of the twine to give the final shape of a circle. When you get the right size of the base, continue with “walls”. For this phase would be nice if you have a little thicker piece of knitting , a sweater for example, that makes the “walls” stand lift. If the walls don’t stand lift, you can insert in the braid some thin plastic sticks that maintain “walls” vertically.
And that’s it! Your puppy or kitten will enjoy its new house!
